Maxxis’ sponsored rider Corry Weller took first place at the opening round of the LOORRS series, and made the podium again the following day with second place at Round 2. The races were held March 19-20 in Phoenix, Arizona.
Weller had taken the SR1 UTV class lead by the second lap of Round 1, trading the front spot with other drivers throughout the remainder of the race. She grabbed the lead for good in the last lap, and had turned the fastest lap time overall. Weller fought just as hard in the next day’s contest, earning second place. For both rounds, she trusted Maxxis’ UTV-specific Ceros tires to take on the competition. “It feels really good to get this win for my team, and especially for our sponsors who have put so much faith and support into our program for this season,” she said.
