he UTV Class at the new Dirt Riot Racing Series is going to be another grand success. The three round test series in 2011 has given positive results to the promoters that are commonly known for promoting the W.E. Rock National series. The endurance race counts as many laps that can be done in an hour. The courses will range in length anywhere from 3-7 miles, with the majority of it spectator visible.
At the race in Colorado Springs in June, there were only two UTVs that took the green flag. Both of them stock RZR’s and even more fun was neither of them owned their own machines; they were the bosses’!
The one hour endurance race went by not as fast as they had anticipated, but still left the track laughing. “This was a great race. It isn’t the RZR’s fault that we don’t know how to jump them yet,” laughed Weldon Nutt. “We will for sure be back next year as part of the series.”
Weldon Nutt went onto be a co-driver in the Unlimited Class in the afternoon. The schedule of having the Trail Class and UTV Classes in the morning allows for racers to enter into multiple classes, or allow the Unlimited Pit Crews the ability to race, not just work.
In 2012, watch for this series to come close to you. There will be 15 races across the country. More Details Will Be Released Soon!
