As we eagerly await the duning season, we need to make sure to keep our toys in tip-top shape. Whether it’s your sand car, ATV, UTV or even the generator in your RV, it’s a good idea to run them at least once a month for about 20-30 minutes. If you haven’t run the motor for a while, it’s a good idea to drain the tank, fuel lines and carburetor/fuel injection system and refill with fresh fuel. With the prevalence of ethanol, fuel systems are more likely to be damaged during long term storage. Batteries will also need to be checked after sitting all summer.
