Quick Stats: Unlimited UTV: Heavily modified UTV up to 1000cc displacement. SR1 UTV: Heavily modified Yamaha Rhino, utilizing a Yamaha R1 1000cc engine or a Kawasaki Teryx, utilizing a ZX-10, 1000 cc engine.
It is a sad day for racers and fans alike. The powers that be have decided the UTV class in LOORRS (Lucas Oil OffRoad Racing Series) will not run in 2012 for the National class.
Bad news, Unfortunately it is official, no UTV class at LOORRS for 2012
Good news, there is still hope for 2013. Thankfully they did not make it permanent.
WE need to do every thing we can to build the class at the regional level and prove to them we will have the car count and spectators to make it a smart business decision to bring us back in 2013.
