STATUS OF THE ISDRA RECREATION AREA MANAGEMENT PLAN (RAMP)

We always look forward to participating in the Sand Sports Super Show (SSSS) in September as it signals the long anticipated start of the duning season. This year’s show was better than ever and did not disappoint.  The ASA is proud to be a part of the biggest show of its kind in the world.

And the Winner Is……

The future got a little brighter for John Stevenson III from Scottsdale, Arizona.  John is the proud new owner of the ASA’s Monster / Buckshot Racing raffle car.  As an avid duner, John said that he’ll put his new car to a lot of use and couldn’t be happier!  Friends of Stevenson said that the win is much deserved as he is the kind of guy who is always picking up trash at the top of a dune when everyone else is taking a break.  We look forward to seeing that beautiful Buckshot car in the dunes!  Congratulations!

VOLUNTEER THANKS

The American Sand Association was proud to unveil our new raffle prizes.  For the September 2012 raffle, the purchase of one ticket will give you two chances to win as there is a 2nd prize and a Grand Prize.

The 2nd prize is 2012 Ranger XP 900 with many aftermarket components that were added at the Sand Sports Super Show.  The grand prize is a Baja GTR Sand truck by Sand Limo.  

ASA’s raffle program is a significant source of income for our organization.  We really appreciate the support everyone gives to this program.
