BLM Enforces the Rules

 

The BLM El Centro Field Office and has confirmed that they are enforcing the supplementary rules pertaining to reserving camping spaces in the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area.

 

The rule is as follows:  It is prohibited to reserve or save a camping space for another person at all developed sites and areas and all ORV open areas.

 

Please note, this rule does NOT specify the 72-hour rule.  In other words, if it looks like your camp is abandoned in order to save space for the holidays, your rig is likely to be removed from the site.

ASA to Participate at 2nd Annual Justin Lofton Charity Golf Tournament

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series racer and friend of the ASA, Justin Lofton will be hosting his 2nd annual charity golf tournament presented by collegecomplete.com on January 7th at Del Rio Country Club in Brawley, CA.  

 

Event proceeds will help fund the Boys & Girls Club of Imperial Valley.  The ASA’s 2nd raffle prize, the Polaris RZR XP900, will be on display for people to check out and purchase your chance to win.

Focus On Safety!

Accidents happen. But most of them can be avoided.  Please remember to follow the rules, wear your helmets and safety gear, and please, buckle up those seatbelts on and off-road!
 
We also ask that you observe the 15 mph speed limit within 50 feet of camps and pedestrians and to be aware of the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning while camping. 
 
Following these three safety tips saves lives!
 

Barrett-Jackson/Scottsdale Volunteers Needed

The ASA Raffle vehicles will be on display at the

Barrett-Jackson

Collector Car Event at the Scottsdale, AZ.

 

Are you available to volunteer a few hours? 

We are looking for people to fill 4 to 6 hour shifts.  

The show times are 8 am thru 10 pm daily.

 

Selling raffle tickets for 4-6 hours will provide you general admission for the rest of the day at the event.
